Turret Group were looking to launch an online offering to support their industry leading magazine, with reviews, editorial, comments, community features, and recruitment advertising functionality.

Turret's original plan involved a simple forum for readers of the magazine to communicate with others and voice their opinions on the news of the day. Planned advertising in the next issue highlighted the features of the upcoming website, however due to internal problems Turret's in-house team weren't able to produce the site on time, so they turned to us.

With the magazine already with the printers we were working to a very limited time scale.

We designed the site to imitate closely the look of the magazine, and incorprated sections for news and editorial, populating them with three months of content, both with comment functionality so that readers can discuss articles. We also put together a community forum, to give readers the opportunity to create topics and communicate with each-other directly. 

We designed, built, tested, and launched the site in three days, well in time for publication.

Once the site was up and running we then added extra features, including a recruitment section where advertisers could upload their own job vacancies, and a 'coffee break arcade' for the readers to enjoy a little down-time.
